What is Polymarket?

Polymarket is a prediction market platform where traders buy and sell shares tied to real-world outcomes. A market usually has outcomes like Yes or No, Up or Down, or a specific team or event result. If the selected outcome resolves correctly, each winning share pays $1. If it resolves incorrectly, the share is worth $0.

Because prices move between 0c and 100c, each price also acts like an implied probability. A 99c outcome means the market is pricing that result as highly likely, but it still carries risk until the event resolves.

What markets are shown here?

99market focuses on active Polymarket markets where the leading outcome is priced from 98c to 99.5c and the market has at least $1,000 in volume. The feed includes categories such as crypto, sports, politics, weather, economy, tech, culture, and other short-dated opportunities when they match the filter.

Very low-volume markets are excluded because they may be hard to enter or exit at the displayed price. The goal is to surface high-probability markets while still requiring enough trading activity to be worth reviewing.

What is the 98c+ strategy?

The 98c+ strategy looks for outcomes that the market already considers very likely. Buying at 98c means the maximum payout is $1, so the gross profit is about 2c per share if the outcome resolves correctly.

The interesting part is time. A 1c or 2c return can look small, but if the market resolves soon, the annualized APR can be high. 99market calculates that annualized return so opportunities with different end dates can be compared quickly.

This is not risk-free. A 99c market can still lose, liquidity can shift, and resolution rules matter. Every market should be reviewed on Polymarket before placing a trade.

How 99market works

It fetches active markets from Polymarket's Gamma API and scans them by soonest end date.

It keeps markets where the favored outcome is between 98c and 99.5c.

It filters out markets with less than $1,000 volume.

It stores the latest feed in Supabase so the site can load fast while refresh jobs update the data in the background.
