Inclusion criteria
The directory includes products that present themselves as prediction markets, event-contract venues, forecasting exchanges, parimutuel markets, sportsbook-style prediction products, futarchy tools or closely related market mechanisms.
Inclusion requires a distinct product identity and a usable official source. A profile may remain listed when a venue is on a waitlist or appears inactive because that dated status is useful context. Inclusion does not establish legality, quality, liquidity, safety or suitability.
How official sources are used
Profiles prioritize first-party websites and the legal, product or technical documentation linked from them. Official sources support narrow classifications such as venue type, market formats, named chains and mechanisms.
A platform's own statement is not treated as independent proof of performance, security, regulatory status or reliability. Material claims should be checked against current terms and, where relevant, regulators, contracts, audits or other authoritative records.
Review dates and freshness
Every platform record carries a visible review date, and source links show an access date. These dates describe when the profile was checked; they are not continuous monitoring.
A “live,” “waitlist” or “inactive” label is a dated status hint. Platforms can change domains, access rules, fees, supported networks, custody arrangements or availability without notice. Current official documentation should override an older profile.
Corrections and updates
Corrections are evaluated against primary evidence. When a supported correction is accepted, the affected facts and review date are updated while unresolved claims remain marked unknown.
To report an error, send the platform name, page URL, disputed text and a current official source through the contact page.
Metrics and comparison limits
The directory compares descriptive fields: status hint, venue type, outcome types, named mechanisms and chains. Counts and filters summarize those fields only. They are not scores or rankings.
Profiles do not claim real-time liquidity, volume, execution quality, user counts, returns, solvency, dispute performance or uptime unless a future methodology explicitly defines and dates such a metric.
Non-endorsement and independence
Listing, linking to or describing a platform is not an endorsement, recommendation, certification or commercial partnership. 99market does not infer safety from a launch state, chain, mechanism or official statement.
Readers remain responsible for checking local eligibility, legal terms, fees, custody, settlement, contract addresses, wallet permissions and the risks of loss before using a platform.
Uncertainty and unknown fields
“Unknown” means the field was not established from the cited evidence. It does not mean the feature is absent, favorable or unfavorable. Broad taxonomy labels also do not prove how a specific market executes or resolves.
Profiles intentionally preserve uncertainty when evidence is incomplete. The evaluation checklist on each page identifies the most important questions to verify before relying on a platform.
